what would cause the quad to bounce up and down at partial throttle like 1/3 maybe?
I did use a huge battery tho turnigy 5000mah 3s 30c (6"x2"x1") on a ht-fpv a little large I think as opposed to the smaller 4"x1 3/4"x 1" I usually use And now that I think I didnt have the gopro on the front also |

So cg needs to be in the middle of the motors not the kk2 ?

What would one do if the quad was rolling right while doing a power climb.
So far my tuning knowledge is as far as tuning out oscillations. And what does the P and I mean? I can't find that anywhere! I'm guessing P gain is for the gyros and I is for the accells. |

First thing to check is that you are getting voltage to the M1 pins to power the KK board--check the bec of that esc or remove it and power the KK with a receiver pack to test.

ok, I did connect it to another BEC and the KK2 unit powers on, but somehow, it doesnt get power from my Hexacopter ESCs. I am using the stock DJI 30amp ESC, does the KK2 work with those ESCs ???

First check that esc has power on its bec your esc could be at fault--best to try and power it with a receiver pack on M1 or remove all the leads and try and power it with the programer if you have one.

Ok so there more of a level and delay control to the motors.

The reason for your problem may be... 1. Your center of gravity is off. 2. ESCs are not calibrated correctly. 3. Motors, ESCs and/or props are not 100% identical (e.g. damaged). 4. Your KK2.0 controller is faulty or not set up correctly. 5. Your transmitter is faulty or set up to use some sort of mixing. |

I hate to use up bandwidth with meaningless drivel about how great these boards are... but I'm gonna!
I just threw together a midget quad with D2822/17 1100kv motors and rctimer 20amp esc's. 8x4 props spaced about 1/4" apart in a square so with the props removed it almost fits in a 9" box. This thing flies great! I was thinking about a tiny gopro quad and this is perfect. A 2200mah 3s batt gives plenty of flight time, it's smooth, steady, super responsive! Next is to build a folding version with the same gear for an even smaller "heavy lifter" (relative to its size). Quick question and I apologize if it's been asked repeatedly (I searched and didn't see anything). Does anyone have any idea if there is a KK3 in developement? Maybe a faster chip for use with a ublox gps? I have a Multiwii 2.0 with gps and bluetooth but I find I keep picking up my KK multi's. They just fly so well and are so simple to get flying. Sure, gps would muddle up the simplicity of it all but... Just curious... |
