Depend on motors and whether ESC's flashed and a bunch of other stuff.

Start at defaults and tune as the Guide in first post.

My P Gains are at 110, flies great as is, I have not bothered with further tuning after tweaking Stick Scaling up for Acrobatics. (I am using Flashed ESC's).
Currently on 1.4 Firmware, I did tune Auto Level Pgain down to 75 as 100 was to sharp an action for me, 75 a lot smoother from FFF.

Here is a setup sheet for the KK2. Helps me keep track of my setups.
Hope it can be of some use to some of you.

Update

I made a typo. Please correct your doc or get this new one.
"Self Level Settings" I Gain should read P Limit

I'm flying a Turnigy Talon Tri frame with 925 kv motors and Graupner 10 x 5 props and it flys nearly perfect on the default settings using 1.4 firmware. The only thing I've changed is the yaw servo setting to high as I'm using a Savox high speed digital and the autolevel I turned down to 50 from the default of 100, too twitchy in FF at the default. I'll be using mine mainly for recording video with a GoPro and backpack FPV. Seems to be working well with these settings so far, only slightly twitchy in the wind though I think reflashing the ESCs would fix that, made a huge difference on my Multiwii quad.

It seems a lot of people's problems are caused by a vibrations.
So, why not to add a tiny feature to KK2?
If KK2 thinks that something was vibrating too much - it says so on the "safe screen" after disarm.

I do not think that implementation of such feature will be hard. But it will help a lot 8)
