Mine had and still have the plastic over the screen but the screen was loose and was flipped 180 degrees forward touching the buttons. I ended up using think CA to glue the screen down.

That's a credit for design, not responsibility for production.
Do you think Ghia was responsible for manufacturing the cars he designed?

Take up your issue with HK support, that's what they are there for.

teopbako,

What a coincidence! I had a very similar situation happened to me a few days ago with my tricopter while flying FPV.

My tricopter did exactly what yours did. After being in the air for maybe a minute while flying nice and level, it rolled left then it just fell from the sky. Unfortunately, I did not record the flight in both FPV and third person view (TPV).

I have repaired the tricopter since then, using the same ESCs and motors. All the electronics seem to be working fine when I took it up for a test flight...

Hmmm...

WOO HOO !!!! just maidened my first quad . only needed a few clicks of trim for nice steady hover . as a fixed wing flier with only 30 minutes practice on a friends MQX i expected some crashing but this is easy so far (hover only) . I built a hobbyking 630 mm woody with EMAX 22 -15 25 950 kv motors , hobbywing quattro 4 in 1 esc , KK2 board , and a turnigy 5 AH 3s lipo . 10x4.5 props . I used the setup on page 1 of the KK2 thread and it feels great - responsive but gentle . really want to thank all the 'honchos' for taking the time to help others - i was able to avoid lots of wasted time and effort thanks to you guys . a big thank you to captain cook too - not only did he discover the best country , he designs great boards too !

Well good for you.

Is there some point you are trying to actually make, or are you just trying to insult the product and it's creator?

Hello!

I'm new here and got a new self made copter with KK2-Bord. The copter diagonale from motor to motor is 50 cm. It's a quadro copter.
The copter flies good, but there are still problems with the fine tuning.
One of it is the same as above posting.

If I gear it left the copter jumps up 5-10 cm. If i gear right th copter falls 5-10 cm
The actual setting in PI Editor are:
Axis: Roll Pitch Yaw
P Gain: 45 45 71
P Limit: 50 50 56
I Gain: 0 0 0
I Limit: 20 20 10

When your crash occurred, were you flying fpv? If you were flying fpv, were you powering the quad and on board fpv gear with a single battery pack?

It looks like you hit a failsafe so the copter stayed in the last attitude and crashed. Could be receiver brownout, check the amps with amp meter.

Yes the flight was FPV all the way...down
One battery used. Dean feeding the distribution board and balance plug feeding the VTx and Camera (Camera is powered thru the VTx).
Any ideas?
