Nice !

The guy that designed that kit for Hacker is Christian Hoffmann (username "Messerschmitt" on rc-network.de).

It's the same guy that designed the AW Me-262 :

Look also at the scratch-built Henschel above.

Are those the retracts designed/sold with the kit ? I was amazed how big this plane is.

Looks very nice, should be flying in no time !

On the German forum they report some problems with the spinner assembly not being balanced - it is a big spinner ... don't know if that applies to your kit.

Good looking !!

Maybe aluminum tube for the spacer, there's a lot of centrifugal forces on that spinner?

ME 309 Cooling

Looks nice. When's the maiden planned?

Mine's about half done. I see no provision for cooling holes in the "instructions" . I will probably enlarge the spinner hole and add 4 more cooling holes in the firewall,to allow spinner intake air to pass through, then 2 on the nose near the bottom. When painted flat black inside those 2 can look a lot like machine gun ports. Finally, I'll need to cut a hatch in the bottom towards the rear for the air to go out.
You don't have the scale engine pieces or air intake on in the pics. Do you plan to leave them off?. I do. I prefer streamlining and performance to scale . Many, including my 18 year old , hold the opposite view.
