What diameter of carbon fiber rod should I use for my Multiplex Easystar?

I want to strengthen the wings on my Easystar because of a more powerful motor I have installed. What diameter of carbon fiber rod should I use in the wings so as to keep them stronger?

Thank you for any information on this.

hmm, isnt there a carbon spar on a easystar to begin with? I thought there is. at least the ones Iv flown had reinforced wing.

but if you need a spar, Id say above 5mm diameter should do it. the bigger the better though.

The biggest diameter rod that will fit inside the existing spar. In the bixler its a 4mm rod but the EZ* might be different.

8mm tube alot bigger than the bixler one, you can use one longer than the stock one too just sharpen a end and push it through.

This is the best easystar build ive seen and i usually follow it!
