Scratch built Tiger Moth flies!

For those of you wondering what happened on the Guillow's P38 conversion, I took a break... Flying the frame back home took its toll...

So I had scratch built this tiger moth 3 years ago. Was meant for a speed 400 if I remember correctly. Got 1 takeoff but never got to turn as it was grossly underpowered...

This time, thanks to Motocalc and a motor laying around, it got to fly in 15mph gusts. Not ideal for a first flight, but the little beast showed great potential.

Specs as follows:
- AUW 30 oz. A pig due to polyester weave, motor & too much plywood
- 4 ch
- full size receiver
- Trinity Quartz (speed 600 motor) with MA 2.5:1 gearbox
- MA 9x5 prop
- 36 in wingspan
- ~400 sqin area
- 10 oz/sqft
- 8 x 500AR

Enough with specs! Here are the pictures

Home made landing gear and rolled 1/32 (?) ply for cowl.
