rimfire .25 with an 11x8.5, and 3s amp draw?

Just wondering whether to buy a 40 or 50 amp esc, as the recommended one is a 45 amp.
thanks

Get the 50A. The extra headroom is good for the soul.

I would get this one http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...arehouse_.html . Out of stock in the U.S. warehouse, but in stock in HK. I have pushed it to bursts over 55a with no problems; and, it has switch mode bec, eight timing options and 5v/6v selectable bec output. The description on the site says "linear bec", but on the motor it states SBEC and we are convinced of that. Heat has never been an issue, even when pushing it beyond its spec.
