E-Flite BAe hawk, or F86 Sabre

Hey
I was planning on getting one of these planes as my step up from a parkzone f27Q Stryker. Which me if these just has slightly more tame flying characteristics?
Any help would be great!
Thanks

Glow? What is that?
Hi there.
IMHO:
If u want a biggish foamy, why not go fpr the FLYFLY Hawk or F86. Very well priced and the hawk flies like a trainer. Lands at a mere jogging pace...

Just my 2c

Neither of those are tame - no way shape or form. Try a foamy first. The Habu might be a better choice for you.

I meant to say on a calm day it's a bugger to slow down. The foam Habu would be an ideal choice as all the parts will fit the first two mentioned.

Sorry I meant TAME per the OP first post. Agree both like a good stiff wind to slow em down!

I know that none of them are tame. But I was asking which one was slower out of the two, and which one will slow down on landing a tiny bit more along with flight characteristics

Define "slow".

I get where you are going. The Hawk is discontinued (that should tell you something). There was nothing slow about it - even with reflex. In fact mine died in a high speed snap! It was an adrenalin rush but required full time attention to detail.

The Sabre is slower. It is easier to see too.

Neither is a good first EDF.

Plenty of video of both - it will really show you what you are asking...

i just wanted to know whether edf's fly like other planes! i was worried they fly differently then other aircraft! Like the stryker. I kept my stryker on full throttle the whole time. So i just hope i can get one of these up in the air

They have differences - there is no "prop" flowing air over the control surfaces - that takes some adjustment.

Flying them at the right speed is key - especially with the high wing loadings. Getting them in the air is not the issue - it is getting them down that is a bit tough.

What other planes have you flown? Have you flown any planes with a 30+in/oz wing loading?

What is wrong with starting with an "easy/tame" EDF - then move on to more advanced models?

Just sayin'

Here is my review on the Hawk:
