well what i did was to push out the shaft a few ,mm out of the bevel gear. just to increase the shaft length by a few mm. then i used a demel tool to increase the shafts flat spot so as to get the blade grip holder to extend farthest from the end of the shaft. with this mod i have increased the shaft effective length by just a few mm's this will be enough to give the pitch a more positive side making the geometry a little close to equal pitches..

I've started my build a few days ago (taking my time). I have a question.....

What lenght should the linkage rod be adjusted to from the servos to the swash plate? Is it the same lenght in the Align Trex pro manual? 32.5mm x3 and 44.5mm x 2 for blade holder pitch?

For what type is this the fb or fbl heli you got so I can try any measure my helis link lengths

Hi!
Just got a complete CX V4 TT tail conversion kit in the mail to convert my V3 belt version. But, noticed that at max and min pitch there is parts hitting eachother. Is this normal? My belt version ones don't have this issue. And this problem will limit the max pitch quite alot.

Yup I encountered this on the Pro TT version.. the L arm hits part of the Y arm at full defection .. i just limit the full extent throws so as the parts dont rub each other

Thanks again soneebee. I'm finishing up and I'm currently leveling the swash.

I got it all wired up and today I hooked up the laptop to the cx-3x1000 using the Jon_nz software. WOW first time doing this. I 'm upgrading from a blade400 which I had for over 4yrs and helis sure came a long ways. I got lots of reading to do. I got my dx6i setup for 120 degree swash and seems the elevator is acting pretty funny. Got lots of learning to do.

i have the black angel and its my favorite heli, you can buy buy different heads for it and yes it rock solid in flight with no vibration issues. and parts always available.
