Cinestar 8 Gimbal Stability Test and Canon 7D low light test with the Tokina 11-16
This video was shot with the Canon 7D at 720p with a tokina 11-16mm, It was almost dark and we pushed the camera pretty hard to see what it could do.
The resulting Image is not that crisp but we were looking for low light performance in full auto mode. We were also looking closely at the the gimbal roll compensation specifically as the values need to be changed for each camera and lens combo. Given how dark it was it did pretty well. We believe that the 45 compensation setting was to too slow to react so we will have to bump it up on the next test The CS 8 handled the 7D with the huge tokina without any problems at all. It was like it wasn't there at all! More to follow as we work through the settings to achieve a better image resolution out of the 7D. http://vimeo.com/43909723 |
