I'm from Malaysia, tried opening that link but lead to Alibaba page cannot be found.
If anyone have the company address, maybe (if they're close) I can pay a visit to check if it's genuine or not. Anyway for that price $150 is way cheap than what other Malaysian retailers are selling their GoPro2 over here.

Thanks. Shah alam is quite far from where I am staying, but I do have a brother who lived there. I do have a reason to go there as he borrowed my RC simulator for quite some time now.

By any chance I do go there, I'll let you guys know. Maybe bring my quadcopter along for some aerial shots as well .. heheheh

I noticed that if you go to the Alibaba homepage and type in gopro hd 2, a bunch of different sellers pop up. Maybe someone else on the list is closer to you?

WARNING

Many sellers on Allibaba.com are real honest sellers, and many are Scams Do your research and know what you are getting before sending a large amount of money to anyone.

" If its too good to be true, it usually is " The fact that they are advertising a GoPro 2 for 150 dollars makes me very very suspicious. It could be a horrible fake copy, or an outright scam.

Be careful people.

Excellent suggestion Jett. I think it's neat that Neato4u might actually be within visiting distance of some of the sellers. Might help improve the odds of finding one of the better sellers.

City: Kedah
Province/State: - 1
Country/Region: Malaysia
Zip: 08000

Company Name: E.U.Connector (M) Sdn Bhd (222878-T)
Street Address: Lot No C10 / 46 Lorong Perusahaan 6C, Kawasan MIEL Kulim Phase II, 09000 Kulim, Kedah Darul Aman.
City: Kedah
Province/State: Kedah
Country/Region: Malaysia
Zip: 09000

Company Name: TTS Valve Technologies Sdn Bhd (395110-X)
Street Address: No 18 Jalan USJ 1 / 1B 47620 Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia.

Chances these are all too far away from anyone in rcgroups.

Now the one listed there is around the first company mentioned as well. How much is this one selling GoPro HD 2 for?

Any mentioned in Alibaba of 'minimum purchase'?

I think all three of them list a price of $150 each with a minimum purchase of 10.

After reading this:

"If you know someone who works for Bestbuy, you can get a hero2 for $199."

the title of the thread seems no more so impossible...

What I am amazed how you don't feel the need to cry if you know the retailers margins are so huge !!! At least me... better don't share my feelings...
