I now have two camera gimbals with missing parts, no instructions and
missing hardware. I paid extra for DHL 3 day shiping because I needed
them fast for a video shoot. Now I am dead for the shoot on Thurs. and I
know I will have a big problem with GLB Customer Service. Like you, I
will see what they do!!!!
All today we received the missing parts (80 clamps)
conclusion: many mails to explain what is missing use photo, keep them busy with mail to control the process, tracking etc. and take your time 30 days in our case.

We can start building now and keep you updated.

Yes there is something wrong. "Lost in the post" means I have to take the losses. Fu just lifts his shoulders.

Hey Guys.
Just to let you all know that I am a VERY happy Foxtech client.
After 4 months, I just received a mail from Fu saying that he will refund me for the orders that were lost.
So after all, he does look after his customers.
Thanks Fu.

My "cheap crap clone" just works great. So there isn't that much to write about.

I am pleased to hear that, as my Octo-clone "Egor," is finally taking shape and should be ready for
test flight in a week or so. How about a few links to where you are posting now, as I have learned
a great deal from you and would like to follow your MRC adventures

Thanks Papajeff! I'm not that into documenting my "adventures" since there seems to be many "safety police" officers trolling the entire internet for someone to jump at.

Right now I'm trying to figure out a good stabilization solution for a cinestar 2-axis gimbal that doesn't cost and arm and a leg. I'll post something when/if I get a working solution.

How do you like that power distibution board, it's from hobby king right?

Jeff,

For a good sized Octo like you are building I would strongly suggest moving to EC5 connectors or APPs. I use EC5 on my S800 and certainly would do so on your copter.

Jab, me too. I find it hard to believe that some so called excellent gimbals
are just under a measley $1000.00! Of course, there is always the ZenMuse
if money is no object, right? When you find a good one, let me know.

Thanks for the suggestion, Andy. What do think of the XT 60's?

With my big Octo, that HK PD board sure worked out great! After using their quad PD board on my
AeroXcraft Quad 670, I was convinced that was the way to go with the Octo. The typical 3.5mm gold
bullet connectors fit perfectly and I have not had any problems.
