Graupner "Cirrus" R/C sail plane kit #4229 (1969)

I'm selling a rare, hard to find vintage model Graupner CIRRUS sail plane manufactured in Germany in 1969. The kit is in mint condition.

The complete kit includes:

Unpainted kit with all original components
Kit is new in box, never started, never removed from the box
Parts bags are factory-sealed
Box is in good condition with minor age wear
Decals are all included and in great condition
All reference booklets and instruction manuals are included

124 parts list made of the following materials:

Steel wire
Beech dowel

The fuselage shell is constructed of plastic.

About the original CIRRUS and the model:

CIRRUS is a top notch hi-performance sailplane; it is manufactured by Messrs. Schempp-Hirth KG of Kirchheim/Teck, making use of modern fiberglass/plastic construction techniques. The manufacturer is an old hand at building sailplanes with 34 years of experience in his field.

Extensive theoretical and practical studies preceded the build of the prototype. The waisted fuselage shape, for instance, was tested by Dr. Wortmann in a wind tunnel. This particular shape results in low drag, which in turn improves flight performance despite a spacious cabin providing outstanding pilot comfort.

The model version of the CIRRUS sailplane offers a wing span of 118 1/8", approximate scale is 1/6th.

Wing Span: 118 1/8"
Fuselage length (approx): 45 1/4"
Length o.a.: 49 1/8"
Wing area: 806 sq. in.

We ship quickly and wrap items carefully. Please leave feedback and we'll do the same.

If packaging and shipping is less than what we've stated, we will refund you the difference. Our main goal is to package items so they get to you in great condition.

Being a new person to the fourm you might want to read the rules prior to posting an off site listing.

There's no price because it's a EBAY listing.

You shouldn't be sorry. The poster placed a "For Sale" ad, when in fact nothing is for sale (hence no price). They should name a price if it's for sale, or change the ad to an "off site" thread instead of a 'For Sale".
