And, as I remember, TahoeEd could not duplicate the condition when he tested.
The fact remains that the baro is light sensitive.
Maybe some more than others...

I do regularly apply sunscreen to my flight controller. Skin cancer is a serious issue with multirotors

Anyhow, other then letting you know that your at half stick (50%) throttle, is there another point to the second part of this (after motor start) that I'm missing? The first part makes total sense, I'm guessing it will warn you if you move a trim enough to effect the calibration after bootup, but the second part seems irreverent. Just wondering if there is something I'm missing...

Sparking indications of Atti. and GPS Atti. are:

 Before motors start: Single blink, all sticks (except throttle stick) return to center; Double blinks,
stick(s) (except throttle stick) not at center.

 After motors start and throttle stick is over 10% in 3 seconds: Single blink, all sticks return to center;
Double blinks, stick(s) not at center.

You've pretty much got it figured.
FWIW, don't use trims with Naza.
Each time you boot up, the "trimmed" center positions are set to zero.
And then you trim again when you fly.
Consequently, Naza adds your trims.
And you get frustrated continually trimming the same way each flight.
The CSC can eventually be effected...
The "relevant" part of the second condition is you'll know when you have the throttle at midpoint.
Also, when I'm flying in wind, I'm not always cognizant of whether I'm leaning on the right stick compensating. In a good breeze, you sometimes don't want to release the stick to find out.
And some of us have flown Naza in pretty stiff breezes!

Yep, read that about the trims quite a few times, good info.

Never thought about the wind and sticks though, I can see that being helpful. Thanks!

25mph gusts... Just testing out the gimbal (it wasn't level when i took off). I was using full stick in ATTI mode to keep it in one place. GPS couldn't keep up and it would just sail down wind. I hold my F550 after to show the 25ft trees blowing around.

I've been gutsy enough to try 30 mph gusts.
GPS was able to deal with it somewhat, but Atti flying was a blast.
I started out high wind flying with the wind coming from behind me to keep the airframe out in front.
Now, I like to push out into a headwind and let it bring the airframe back to me...
A LARGE time!

I wanted to try flying high but with over $2k in video equipment on board it wasn't worth the risk. It's the reason I want a FPV Quad setup.

I learned to fly r/c with just rudder/elevator (no throttle) ... so keeping upwind on a blowy day was pretty important. Run out of fuel downwind and you'd never get back

I had a bad moment with my first quad (non-DJI) drifting downwind despite full 'elevator' applied (luckily the wind then dropped a bit). I increased the maximum allowed tilt angle after that, for the Naza it's 45 degrees anyway which should be fine.
