You do have some interesting points. Essentially, that must be how it's done, but it does require a lot of skills to do so.

This German fellow never fails to amuse me: http://www.heli-scale-quality.com/co...art/Itemid,43/

But the shipping to US is anything but cheap, but definitely worth it if you can afford.

Hubsan Micro Scale helis

Searching for info about Hubsan quadcopter I found these Micro Scale helis on their website:

4CH Westland Lynx Helicopter(H101)

4CH Mini EC145

Anyone knows some more info about flight performance of these helis? (here or other forums)?
They are available on ebay at some expensive price....

Greetings,
Tony

I saw these also...the EC145 looks amazingly good and it features independent 1.9g servos...but I saw a few pics on a Japanese website of the internal structure...it's all aluminum and the battery is not replaceable. Seems to me like a bad combination for a micro.
The Lynx might be alright... although I really think the age of larger, weighted flybar helicopters is over. Things this size should be at least FBL now.

Yes, this is the picture of internal structure:

About FB technology, I know it's obsolete but for micro scale the look is so important that we can pass over this aspect... until new releases.

Yeah, I guess I can live with the flybar, but look at the EC145...the motor looks like the one which is found on the Mini CP/FP...which uses A LOT of power.
That's: heavy frame, heavy body, non-replaceable battery.

Hmm..performance doesn't seem to be great either from the video

That said, the thought of having my very own EC145 to carry out rescue missions might just be enough for me to make the purchase... as I'm a big fan of scale civilian helicopters.
These 2 are eye candy

Walkera X100

Here is a vid of another RTF scale heli (one day I will build a KA-50 and/or KA52 with my V4 or BOL ... but until then, this is probably my most favorite scale heli at the moment)

Sweet. The hover craft sure is an attention getter. The Avatar craft is cool too. Post a video of the hover craft if you can. Would love to see that in ground action and in air as well. The 2 channel limitation is a bummer though.

Keep posting more man

The lynx is supercool. If only the LCD was a little bigger. How do you like yours? Here's a review by alishanmao.

The Lynx does look pretty cool, but flybarless would be better , theres no real reason now not to be introducing more scale flybarless helis onto the market or at least more flybarless ones , the technology is already out there and has been for a while.

Fpv is a taste thing, personally i would rather FPV a wing, plane or bigger heli out of sight rather than fly a scale heli 50 feet away, dont really see the point in it otherwise.
