I see it's sold without charger and battery which is a good thing. Makes it an affordable package. I wonder which 1000 Mah lipo's will fit. Can't seem to find the dimensions of the Walkera lipo.

Yeah, I was wondering about that myself. It has a battery "cage" so only certain batteries are going to fit unlike the V200D03 and 4F200 that can take a variety of battery sizes. Could be a deal breaker for me as I don't want to buy a whole new set of 3S packs.

If it has a battery cage I think it's going to be the deal breaker. The stock batteries cost $25? Way too expensive.

Found more info..

Length x Width x Height , 65mm x 33mm x 16mm

**Edit**

Smallest one I can find is a compact Zippy @ Hobbyking. Is 76x34x15mm

I'd bet you could just cut off the battery tray and use some velcro and a strap.

Don't understand why they went with a brushed motor though. Looks like the RK-400SD motor from the V400D02.
That will be the first thing I'll change.
Wow.. That motor goes back to the Walkera 36 days... Must be Walkera using up old stock as the 36 must be at least 4 or 5 years old now.
I also own a V400, and didn't realise it used the same unreliable motor until I checked the labelling on it.

Are any vendors selling it in the US yet?

RC Helis: My Healthy Obsession
I just got a test heli today. So I will have a chance at flying her around a bit tomorrow after work. I can let you guys know what I find then. Came with a Devo 7E Tx so I will fool around with that as well to see how it works.

HeliRCStore has it showing as a "New Arrival" but out of stock on the page. So they should have stock to sell soon I am expecting.

I'm watching for a US vendor to start carrying this as well.

I bought my very first Walkera not long ago (the Genius CP) and have been really impressed with it. I am, however, very new to CP helis so I am rather easily impressed at this point

Thanks for the tip. It looks like a pretty good source.

Looks like this could also use a BRUSHLESS main motor and ESC (which I have sitting in my box)
My spare motor is 27mm diameter, 2.3 mm shaft with 10T pinoin...
Can somebody check if this is a 10T pinion...
Thanks,
-Spyro
