That sounds like some very cool features.

A first thought is utilising google earth's advanced track format which allows for things such as roll and pitch and yaw data and you can essentially do a digital FPV flight.

But my long term goal is to do something that can tie the data to a video.

If there is enough support for it I could whip up some sort of flight log manager that could via the website keep track of your logs and some tools for things like KML export, maybe other formats for different software?

After giving it some thought I think an android app would be a good idea... What does everyone think of that? An app to manage and view your log files, view them, etc?

I've already wrote a script that generates a google earth flight from the log data. But no time to write a webinterface yet :-(

Well they officially have released the specs for the format. I am currently working on building my own 433MHz bidirectional control and telemtry link, so soon I will be advancing the log handling.

Good luck with that !

I have a 435mhz bidirectional link to mine via openlrs hardware, and I have all the AHI, GPS and PID data downloading and uploading, but the hornet OSD does not output serial data to the UART port to send the OSD data such as current and voltage though

That's OK as long as it's still on the screen, it wouldn't be hard to hack in a simple module to read the data from the sensor directly.

feiyulog -> kml converter

I've wrote a basic web interface for my feiyulog -> kml converter:

Have fun :-)

Oh just for the record this will be getting an overhaul fairly soon. I am going to be working on my 433MHz bidirectional radio system really soon so I will be re-visiting this code as I am going to be implamenting full support for getting the telemtry and giving commands to the AP, plus they did release the actual protocol of the telemetry so I can make my converter much more accurate and robust.

Probably be about a month away, I am in the process of building up my new Super Skysurfer so it is taking up a lot of my time, but it's worth it because it is going to be quite the awesome FPV plane! You can see the build log at http://fpvlab.com/forums/showthread....urfer-Buildlog.
