There is/was a field in Brunswick:
http://www.brunswickrc.com/

Not sure of its current status.

Many of us used to fly at Sagamore Park and then found benefits to joining one of the local clubs.

Hey. Shark, welcome. What kind of planes do you fly? I think an updated list of area fields is a good idea.

It seems like it used to exist. Maybe you could get a list together and stage antiHK rallys at each one. Just kidding, please don't report me.

So...anyone work on that list?

I'll be traveling to mayfield heights next month. Will be by the metroparks but word is they are off limits. The club I used to fly at along 271 in chagrin hasn't been there for years. My grandfather lives in mayfield and hasn't flown in ages. I'd really like to find him a place to fly. Normally he flies big gassers but I'll settle for anything. Anyone fly at the local schools? Any electric clubs in the area? I'm worried he's reluctantly getting out of the hobby. Every time I visit he gives me nitro engines and fuel tanks. Very minimum I want to set him up with a umx cub or micro Radian he can fly somewhere.

Please help me keep the person who got me into this hobby, in this hobby.

Sounds like he would enjoy the Cleveland Radio Control Club. They were able to re-open a closed field as electric only. The great thing is that it is in the city and easy to get to from Mayfield. It's basically a bit North of the I-480 bridge where it goes over the valley. Nice place to fly. You and he would be welcome for a guest flight as long as you have AMA. Ask for Walt at the field.
