huh?... Malamute is a 30cc sized plane, a little heavier than our slicks or extras (pretty big airframe though)... but the a60-6XS is a powerhouse motor... anyone not getting enough power from it isn't swinging a big enough prop

I think I'm gonna take another stab at a gasser with this one except not a DLE this time... O.S. GT-33. I'm guessing it takes 6 HS-985MG's plus a throttle servo?

I wonder if a servo with more torque may be a good idea for flaps. Those are straight down or close to it with a large surface area. I can see those trying to blow back on the 985's

The part that scares me about the DA is the $$

The OS GT33 is quite a motor.

Personally I can care less if it can hover. Cool but unnecessary for me. I have plenty of planes that are great at hovering. I just want a bush plane with huge tires to fly circles and do STOL takeoffs and landings. Loving Bigfoot so far

yeah, same. I'll be glad to hover her a few times I'm sure, but one wheel touch and goes, low inverted passes, and carrier landing antics are what I'm after.

can't wait to get my hands on one 6s 5000/10,000 powered. hope to have it lit up by an aurora andromeda kit.
