Edit:
Ok, so I went looking in search of the elusive Bigfoot and stumbled across this:

Bigfoot sighting(3dhs) (0 min 51 sec)

Too funny.
Laughed my butt off.

we don't know our final wing dimension yet... but given that planes around what it's modeled on are about 35 feet wingspan, would put this around the 1/5 scale mark.

AJ posted this on facebook:

"Gluing the canopy on the new 3dhs plane. The first model was flown today and all indications were good. I'm excited to get mine going."

Then commented "right now it's 78" wing which could change, 68" fuse, setup for either 20-30cc engine, or electric power setup. The one that flew yesterday was powered by an Os 33, they said it had good power and flew for 20minutes. Mine will get a Hacker A60-6xs on 6 cells to try out."

"Yea we have the flaps that throw almost 90 degrees! Should be great for those bush type landings and take offs. Now if we had brakes like the full scale it would be even cooler. "

Close enough, though. Looks like they're getting everything else right. Note how they've wisely moved the landing gear slightly forward of where it is on the full-scale Super Cub. That'll definitely reduce the incidence of nose-overs:

Looks great. Any plans for this being in the 48" range in the future? I know bigger flies better but my Pop would love one of these in the 48" size.
