New Product

$40 MQX / Ladybird by WL Toys (Turnigy Compatible)

I wonder if any of you have seen this

There is a MQX clone available in a Walkera QR Ladybird shell coming soon from WL Toys in China. As some of you may know, the WL Toys V911 has taken the market by storm and is now probably the most popular FP heli on the market. It may about to do same for the low end quad market. The transmitter is the same as that of the V911 and is Turnigy compatible. The RTF price in China is going to be around $40 and the BNF price around $31

I flew my friends the other day, I don't own the MQX, but man this one was easy to fly and super stable, I was airborne for less then 2 mins and was doing 4 rolls in about 25ft

If i had to choose between this one and the e flight one...this one forsure!

I suspect they have got permission from Walkera, otherwise WL Toys would have broken a number of laws.

1. Trademark infringement
2. Copyright design of the canopy
3. Possibility other infringement of other patents relating to the electronics. It is quite possible that IP belonging to the MQX has been infringed as well.

The latest news is that it is going to ship very soon and we will have the first user feed backs.

More like closer to $50 for the BNF and $60 for the larger model. Those figures get rounded up, not down..... I'll wait till ti drops to $40 I think.
