Are these AMA approved?

Some of the blade on some models look kind of thin, especially the larger models. I guess Gary has not had any problems with his, but I think he demands quality. At the very least they should do dye penetration test to make sure there are no cracks otherwise bad things will happen.

Pricing is way too high, btw, is it true that all EDF unit must be AMA approved?

Like those from Tamjet, ExtremeRC and etc?

I pushed Garys 70mm Mach Alloy fans above 64,000 rpm and they been holding up great.Sounds just as smooth from startup to max RPMs. I still would not hold it in my hands though!!

Dynamic Balanced System of Medal EDF

Dynamic Balanced System of Medal EDF

1:balance level: rotor balancing level is divided into 11 levels, and each level is increased 2.5-fold. The most demanding level is G0.41 which has single, double balance ability and 3D laser scanning, making it suitable for different types of balancing.

2:guiding balance function: based on measured data the software could quickly calculate quality and its angles by providing a well-round guiding balance function.

The operator can easily complete the balancing function by its guiding.

3:Use existing installation condition on and off 2~3 times.

4:Vector decomposition: reasonable vector decomposition should be conducted through calculated balance quality.

5:Balancing Method: test weight method and influence coefficient method;

6:weight-testing estimation: reasonable balancing weight-testing quality shall be estimated through automatically input data of ro tor and can bring result of dynamic balancing.

7:The speed measuring range: 60 ~ 100000r/min

8:Residual unbalance data: Quality for 1mg , vibration data: 0.01mm / s

9:Dynamic balance one time can reduce 95% unbalance chance.

10:Speed Accuracy 1%%
