Did you get your shim put on DT? How about your motor sticker did you have to remove it like everyone said?

I was reading up on this shim you guys are talking about. You say the sticker must be removed off the motor. Is this for the shim to slide on? Lets say I go with one what about entering races? Will anyone attempt or say I'm using an illegal motor without a sticker on it? I'm concerned that this might happen. If it does then I've gone through all the trouble in installing one for nothing but problems.

You won't need to worry Fixit if you pull your branded motor sticker off the can You'll be fine. If so obvious when one tries to cheat anyways if they use a different motor.

If I buy one would you put it on? This way you'd be the one pulling my sticker off and not me. I may be in Nashville next week. Maybe we can hook up then? I'll let you know what day.

The shim should just just slide on once you remove the sticker yes? You should try getting your hands dirty. Removing your motor is about the easiest thing to do. Just take off your motor cap on the pod and your motor slides right out. It can't get easier than that. Just my two cents worth.

Robert is the only one that had to remove his sticker. I think he may
have a special big block motor or something.

ROLF FP if u recall, we sat in McDonalds and u seen where my motor sticker was in the way when i slid the shim on. If you heat up the shim like we talked about, it loosen the sticker once the shim is on. Now i have one if the first ones but i thought there all the same id and od. They can press the shim however, its going to still damage the sticker. What happem when u pressed urs on?

I went ahead and pushed my shim on. It went on fine but I see what Rob meant by removing the sticker. It would allow it to be pushed on easier. I left my sticker on even though it was ripped while i was putting the shim on.
