Walkera QR LadyBird Quadcopter (2 min 13 sec)

The vids I've seen shows small ladybird quad flys well in winds.

Thanks guys.........well I just got into RC micro boats, giving my V911 some rest from daily flight and now it looks like I'm going to have to get back into it. You guys find it hard to determine orientation with the quads?

Cool RC micro boats. Any plans to build a RC heli/quad carrier?

Once you're familiar with the quad, you'll be ok with the orientation... I have the skids (as seen on brosol's post) on mine so it helps..but similar to flying fixed wing aircraft, you really need to visualize in your head the change in orientation, altitude and attitude with each stick movement so that you are using sight only to confirm what you already know... because once it's far away, everything will look like a dot... and if you don't have a grasp of what it's doing when you last moved the sticks..you'll lose orientation easily

The MQx is very easy to disassemble, very few screws, no CA. The Ladybird is not quite as easy, and the motor and boom are one unit; but still very simple, compared to any heli. Can't say how the clones will be, but the Ladybird copy has better motor pods.

I only mention it because a BNF V911 I ordered for use as a parts heli from BangGood had CA glued land skids, tail boom, tail motor holder, tail fin, swash pin guide.
