I would get a BNF version if it binds with a 9x Tx.

The tx is the same as the V911's and so I'm thinking that it will bind to the turnigy for sure...

I hope this is true. I like to see a FPV version, other non-bug shell options too. I want to get into building micro/mini sized Franken-Quadcopters.

I wonder what other surprises were flying around in that testing room with the "ladybird"... possibly a FBL heli?

In any case, I doubt Wei Li dares to pull this off without consulting their legal team. I certainly hope I can see this selling online.
iPad and iPhones are extremely highly recognizable and distributed products. The same cannot be said for the QR Ladybird. I can't see any reason to make an exact copy of the ladybird shell. They could have changed the bug's mouth from a frown to a smile but they didn't. Even the pattern on the shell is completely identical. You can make lots of arguments over copying of electronics, but there are no ifs and buts about shell design. You don't need to consult legal team to tell you that is is a complete indefensible case. The chances are that WL Toys have got permission from Walkera, and some parts may even be supplied by them.

This has been rumored for quite some time. A very low cost 100 FBL will really stir things up. A big hurdle that Walkera and Nine Eagles face in the US is that it is dominated by Spektrum transmitters. But there are lots of people with Turnigy transmitters around as well.

I was hoping for a new quad, not another copy. I already have 2 MQxs and sold my Ladybird because I didn't like it. I can't say I understand the reasoning behind this. They basically lose a lot of sales to people who all ready have these models.

You have got a MQX copy in a Ladybird shell at a very low price. What else do you want.? Not only that, it is Turnigy compatible and there are lots of people with Turnigy transmitters around. The V911 is now dominating self-stabilizing market. The chances are that this will do the same for low end quads. When their 100 sized CP comes, it may pull the rug away from all the major manufacturers again.

It's quite late here but I messaged Mr. Cai from WLToys about the canopies. I thought it might be a good idea if you guys could come up with some paint schemes that I can send them? something more aggressive but just as visible I think would be great..

Or perhaps a dimpled surface like a golfball, to improve drag?
