ONE STOP- Large LCD Screens source - 12v/No Blue screen

Good day,
I believe we need a complete comprehensive list of all large lcd screens that have been personally tested not to blue screen, with links and prices.

A one stop thread to scroll through and pick out a screen that is known to work. Will simplify researching screens, and hopefully save fellow RCers from spending money on a screen bad for fpv.

Criteria for post:

1. No Blue screen
2. 12 volts
3. Model, Brand, Size
4. Links to specific model
5. Price if available

This thread will only be useful with your help! Please post the screens you like and have tested.
THANKS, and please participate

I can keep this thread cleaned up if you all prefer. It'll make it easier to read. Any suggestions, feel free to post!

Alright! We have an 8".

Some more feedback on whether I should leave the feedback and conversation or edit it to only have posts with a screen. Should I edit out duplicate screens? You guys let me know. This thread is for the community.

Im starting it because Im looking for a big screen myself, for my copilots to watch. Somewhere around 13"-22" more toward the 22" side, so my friends can see the photograph their getting.

Philips PD7012 Slave Screen - Runs on 9-12.6V, no blue screen, lightweight + portable, it's working well for me so far, the aspect ratio is a bit off since it's sorta a widescreen LCD. Super cheap though, I paid $23 for mine on eBay.

Here is one for $25 shipped from the US: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Philips-PD70...#ht_1518wt_952

I found this 13" model my last trip to the city, then in a Source store (formerly Radio Shack up here) saw this 24" model that was powered by a 12v AC converter and had such a sharp picture I was tempted to get it, blue screen or not. However I have no idea how these hold a signal. Also saw a 19" 12v RV model at a local store, may try one of those, but I forget the make right now, will stop in next chance I get and post details. I'm thinking if it's made to grab over the air signals, it may be resistant to blue screening.

Also recently noticed my kitchen TV I've had for years is 12V converter powered, it's a 19" Magnasonic, cheapo discount brand with built in DVD, USB etc. , will have to see hook my fpv gear up to it and see how the signal degradation is on it.

I bought this from Nebraska Furniture Mart for $175.
Supersonic 24" led LCD.
Works good. No blue screen. 12 volt.
I haven't got the screen settings adjusted to be as clear as my headplays, but it is a lot bigger screen and only a 540 t/l camera. I love it.

Maybe someone knows a good 15-19 "LCD? (4:3 ratio LCD, 12V).

I'm looking for, but a very small choice of 12V monitors.

Many if not Most LCD monitors are 12v powered. If they have a power plug and no external brick, it's usually because the brick is on the board. If the internal supply produces only 12v, it's easy to disable it and wire direct, but sometimes there's another supply integrated into it, like 5v, and that's over my head to tackle, and too much work to make it worthwhile, I think..
If you're willing to dive into the guts, get the schematic and see if the power supply is isolatable and makes only 12v
Actually, the 4:3 seems a bit tougher to find in the modern monitor stable.
I've got a 16" monitor ordered from Kogan, but I think it's 16X9.

For a few bucks more they have a 9" version. This is what I use. Goes to complete snow with no blue screen what-so-ever. It's called the PD9012

These are brilliant and cheap. Lots of guys in OZ are using them. Not sure if the make is available in US. It features a built in recorder that copies to a USB stick, but unfortunately only from the digital TV signal, not the AV input.
Uses minimal power. Will run happily on a 3s. Claimed <25w. Measured actual 16w consumption.
