fuel proofing stickers

Hi All,

I have made some stickers from Avery clear sticker sheets on my ink jet printer. I need to fuelproof (nitro) them. What can I use to put a clear protective coating on them.

What I have on hand,

Clear polyurthane?

Clearcoat auto finish (Dupli color) from the auto store?

Anyone suggestions.

You will need a two part (catalyzed) paint to completely fuel proof your stickers. With that said, if they will get just exhaust residue, then just about anything will work. It's the nitro and methanol that cause the problems.
