Yeah, I've seen that from range video, it's out of stock unfortunately...
Now with all these BL gimbals that need a fine balance, we really need a soft & lghitweight cable for video out.

It is a soft silicone servo ribbon cable. The plug is a little large but its fixed to the GP and I'm hoping to balance without the battery anyway.

I've just put in an order for a spidex+brushless gimbal...!!
Since my funds are a bit limited, can I use my DJI motors from the flamewheel?
What battery (3S / 4S) and props would work best? I'll be using the Naza + GPS.
I welcome everyone's advice!
thx

PS for when funds allow, is this the motor recommended by quaternium?

moriwaky,

just a tip for your business, a Spidex "XL" for Nex-5 with brushless gimbal would sell like hot cakes, actually, since there is no one available I am building one right now but would have prefered to buy a finished one. Mine will have foldable arms also and some other "extras".

So have any of the first preorder folks received their gimbals/quads yet? I'm anxious to see user reports and videos!

I don't think any have shipped yet. I believe I'm #3 or 4 on the list and have not been notified or sent a tracking number. Last Friday they posted that they were aiming to start shipping yesterday. If it takes a little longer to make sure everything is right, I'm ok with that.

I live in the US so I don't know how long a UPS package from Spain will take. And then I'll still have to build it.

My Spidex took about 3 weeks from Spain back in January but it came USPS?

Flying Phantom
hope they will ship soon^^
I am located in Germany so it should hopefully just take a few days to get it here from spain, can`t wait for it to test it out

Hi guys,
I have an offer from a buddy to buy his almost new (6 flights - no crash) Tiger MT2814-10 770kV motors, do you think they would be a good choice with 10" props & 4S?

Mine is good at 900KV with 10-3.8s. Those would probably be better with 10-5s.

Well they say on their site they use UPS and while the US Postal Service would bring it to your door, anything mailed from Spain would be through the Spanish mail system.

Since the shipping fee is 30 Euros ($39) I would expect that would pay for fairly fast service.

The problem with the shipping from Spain is the spanish postal service. Itīs very slow and very very expensive. But donīt worry te gimball will arrive to every customer soon or later. I know some customers in spain recived their gimbal today. So just wait a little bite more a prepare your machines for the gimbals.

See you!!!
