F-35A 10 inch w/s 3 axis TV

This is my first attempt at posting drawings of an aircraft that I have designed. The EDF Scale competition thread and the GP-30 mm EDF motivated me to create an indoor jet. I felt the F-35A could be constructed similar to the F-22 designed by Espirit440. I am going to attempt to do a simple build blog, my friend JimB hopes to do a more complex build blog in the future.

Here are the specs of the F-35A

Wingspan: 10 in
Scale: 1/42nd
Weight: AUW 51.4 200 milliamp GP Battery
GP 30 mm Fan & electronics
Futaba 9Z with Any Link
Pro Formance Foam GPMR7526 2mm
Tactic 4 CH receiver
Thrust vectoring paddles for pitch & roll
Thrust vectroing cone for yaw

Pitch 3/8 up and down, 20 expo
Roll 3/8, for C model 20 to 25% more down then up. 5 to 10% for the A model. 20 expo
Yaw about 1/8 I use a high exp. 40
The differential in roll should be close. Cleans the roll up a lot.

Drawings, decals and additional information will be posted later.

Here is a video of the F-35A in action on 2S.
10 inch F35.MPG (4 min 11 sec)

Here is the video of the F-35C outside on 3S
F35 C MODEL 004 (2 min 36 sec)

This is a video of the yaw thrust vectoring cone
Micro F-35 Yaw thrust vectoring (0 min 4 sec)

I’ve had the privilege of seeing this birds progress, filming and Flying it. I’m looking forward in building my own soon. This little jewel fly's like you won’t believe. From super slow, I mean like single gym slow too, some you better be ready on sticks speed. Sean has some pretty special talents, and he’s willing to share it with us. I've already learned a ton, Thanks much Sean. The challenge will be to make it anywhere close to as sharp as yours. Stay tuned folks as we get ready to do a build thread on this little Jet jock maker.

Some people are always reading into somthing that isnt there and trying to judge them to an other standard. Best thing to do is not reply to them and just let them think what they want.

Any who's when are these plans gonna be out?

Wow Jim, somebody actually PM'd you saying that??? What a freak. I think that our coat tails here in Champaign are so tangled up that we are left with an amazing quilt of inspiration and learning.

We are going to be doing a build thread soon on this bird. My goal will be to explain the building and or work though issues in building process. I’m no master Modeler, just a person who enjoys building, almost as much as flying, and with the help of some really great builders, I’d like you to have built one of your own. Stay tuned. Jim

Crikey Jim!?! There's some weird people floating around these boards, that's for sure.

This is a great looking F-35 and I am really looking forward to following this thread from you two.

I've had to do lots of little modifications to the drawings. They're pretty close though.
This is a picture of #2 an A model and #3 a C model Navy version. I hope to test fly #2 this weekend. If everything goes well I hope to release drawings shortly after.
There's a lot of hope going on here.

It is alot like esprite F-22 build witch is awsome since it is a very easy build and ive done 3 of them so far.

Ive been wanting to do another 15in ws F22 with a hacker 1228 inrunner on 3s with a 3020prop but ill wait till these plans come out, ive always liked the F35 more then the F22
