From Fast and Furious to Fast and Loose......

It seems that government agencies have gone from Fast and Furious to Fast and Loose......with the Secret Service's secret servicing of prostitutes now spreading to the DEA is seems like we have agencies to truly be proud of.

Wonder if the "pay and play" costs were attached to expense accounts.....

America has no moral compass, from the top down the example has been set as low as possible. I wouldn't expect much more from our government representatives.

I find it amazing that these people go through all the trouble of education, training, background, clearances, rigorous testing, an incredible interview process.........then throw it all away on something as dumb as hookers and booze. Crazy

We can thank the lack of religion in families and the liberal agenda for that....
OH wait a minute...... even some religious conservatives, movie stars and well off people, don't have a moral compass either....

So who's to blame???....... Our politicle leaders..... Don't they lead by example....

In the old days a Secret Service man's wife might say "Bring me something back" when he goes overseas on the job.

Nowadays it's more like "Don't be bringing anything back with you !".

It is hard to separate morality, honesty, integrity, and honor. When a man has no internal compass his life will go over a cliff.

Our own president show us the path to success is through lying, bribing, deception, obfuscation and lack of transparency. As for movie stars, LOL.

Best description I have seen for the pretender President:

Quote:
Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field
Promises what he cannot do, gives what he does not have, and takes what is not his all in the name of helping. As for the electorate, "Woe unto them who call evil good and good bad."

it is possible to act with dignity and honor without bending to a religion.

I think the problem is many fold.

To much power in the hands of few.
To many responsibilities in the hands of too few.
No respect for the office being held (top to bottom)
No respect for those they are responsible to (top to bottom)

It's interesting to note that while Blackwater female employees were being raped and imprisoned by other Blackwater employees, the President who had hired them wasn't mentioned, and there were even those conservatives who questioned that it ever happened. But elect Obama prez, and it's all his fault.

While I agree with what you say I tend to believe that too many responsibilities of those who are elected are turned over to those who never have to run for office and give those elected an out because, "We didn't do it". Heard a school board member say we need a committee because I just don't even know what questions to ask. If you don't know what questions to ask, why the hell run for the office in the first place.

No government or form thereof is inherently good or bad but it is rather the people in office who are good or bad.

I believe that we are all accountable to a higher Good and that is God.
