Raspberry Pi for multi rotor

I was just wondering if anyone here has thought about using Raspberry Pi for multi rotor maybe for ground station running sofware? @ $25.00 looks like there could be some use for it.
Maybe a Guy like TC needs another project

if you add a bluetooth adapter you could run the multiwii software and talk to your quad, but you still need a monitor, the nice thing is the pi would run on 4 AA batteries no problem.

Yea, they are pretty cool. I want to run XBMC on one. Too bad they are like OpenPilot though: Great product with tons of hype but almost impossible to buy.

I may be crazy but i was thinking somthing like this could be coupled with like Naza 32 that already has all the senors needed. Then you could have the multiwii software on the Raspberry pi. That way no need desktop client just plug into via smart phone for screen and keyboard or via blutooth realtime.

You can buy a netbook for about $100 new on eBay that will do a better job with more performance and storage.

Thats fine for ground station but when they develop on this for FC i think it will work much better than netbook.

Huh? How are use supposed to read a display on a FC when it's up in the air? Your OP says ground station.

I do plan on using this for ground station with 7" lcd. But there are other developers already looking at this for onboard multirotor FC.This is just a start at what will be coming. As far display maybe blutooth or wireless.

3G telemetry on ArduPilot 2.5 (APM) via a Raspberry PI (RPI)

We have managed to connect our APM 2.5 to an RPI in order to have livetelemetry over 3G:
