Good work! That only took 5 hours from beginning to end?! My last build took 40 hours, and I didn't have to cut cores or make a fuse. What's the all up weight? Also, I thought that depron couldn't be hotwired. Was I wrongly informed or did you use a different method to cut the cores?

Most depron is XPS and can be hotwired. Double check before doing.

Also, typical depron is ~15 psi compressive strength so not the best shear web. Certainly usable as a core with some creativity. An issue is getting the stuff in a thick enough batch.

finally a finished plane from K, but still same blurry photos :P as always.

Hey K whats the EDA of that plane?? seems kind of flat for a DLG. And what about the boom lenght??

I hope you get an actual video of the maiden flight and some detailed pics on those wings

Well,
The W/S is 1500mm
The Length including Fuse is 1000mm (Minus Rudder)
the Boom Length is 600mm long..
and the Protos pod is depron built up..... (and will be pulling some PTEG pods from a new Plug of the same shape..
The Airfoil is undisclosed.... (gotta keep some secrets...)

Yeah i'll get some Video (just waiting on Mother nature...) and my action cam is Charged and Waiting...

and What Does EDA mean...?
i still have to do some linkages.....

id Say Right Now She weighs in around 150- 160g I will Weigh her Later...

Google "equivalent dihedral angle" and you'll find some calculations for figuring tail volume, moment, and dihedral to determine spiral stability.

It's pretty important for DLGs. My guess is you're around 4ish.

Well i like expirimenting First...! Trail and Error is my Favorite Way...

BTW big news the boom is Being Set in Place... so i might get in a maiden tommorow or on tuesday ... Depending on the Weather and if my LHS has a Servo snake thats long Enough for the Elevator...
And for the time Being i slightly oversized the Elev to be on the safe side...
