Keychain Camera Discovery
This is not news to most users of the keychain camera but I have been using it for a few months and have only now discovered the following:
- it is infinitely better to remove the memory card from the camera and use a card reader to read, copy and delete files. Trying to do that with my camera attached to the pc results in locking up the camera so that I can't do anything. - when deleting files on the card they may get copied to a trash file on the card which still uses space on the card so that eventually it becomes full. At that point no more video space is available to take videos even though you think the card is empty. Just delete the trash file and all is ok. Can't believe I'm just finding this out. My camera is one of the early ones, #3 I think. Don't know if these points of interest apply to later cameras. |
