Just thought I'd share a few pictures of my new plane...it's a plans built micro-wave by Rich U. I'm waiting for a WM300 EDF to provide power.
It's conventional balsa & lit ply w/ balsa covered foam wing. I cut all the parts out by hand, not a lot of parts, tho'...I'm using Corona MG micro digital servos on the ailerons and a T-Pro MG90S for the elevators w/a Spektrum 2.4 rcvr and an Exceed 60A ESC. I need to put a hook on the bottom as I intend to bungee launch this plane. Should be a nice easy everyday flyer, at least I'm hoping.

Looks good! What size motor are you going to use with the WM300? Do you have a plan to make a thrust tube?

I got a megamotor that I'm going to try. Right now, I've using a 64 mm w/a 3750 kv motor. I actually test flew it today. It was way too sensitive on ailerons and it cartwheeled when I landed and damaged the nose slightly. A hour or so should fix it up. I'll cut down the throw and try again soon. It actually flew great, it was pretty fast on just a 3S 2450mAh batt. I think I'll start fixing it right now. So, so long for now.

Rich, thank you for your comment, I'm sure I will have a great time flying it. I discovered later that I had set the radio up in a Delta configuration, probably accounted for the rather touchy flight. I repaired the damage, set the radio up correctly and tried again yesterday.
This time the flight was much easier and more easily controlled. One of the rear extensions was damaged on landing, in part I believe because I did not tie them together as the plans showed. I have since tied them together and am looking forward to many flights. All things considered it is much quicker than a foam F-35 that I have and is fast enough for me.

Here's a couple of videos of the launch and flight of the "new plane"
While the landing looks and is not the best, no damage was sustained.'
Enjoy and thanks for looking...

I need to get the YouTube addy and add them to my post. Not really sure how to do all this stuff. Bear with me. Thanks

Thank you, bwoollia...as you may have heard in the video the controls are still way too sensitive (for me) I cut them in half and tried again but a bad launch caused some more damage so back to the repair shop. PS, it took all of 15 minutes to fix but I didn't have the necessary stuff with me at the field, which is about 45 mins. from my house. And it's ready to go again, perhaps Tuesday as tomorrow is Memorial Day and family picnic.

Nice Micro!

Because of poor field conditions early 2012 I couln'd maiden my Mini until recently.
I reduced the control throws as well and now it flys very easy.
