Multiplex Fun Cub for my dad.

After all, he got me started in RC flying back in the early 80ís. It is built mostly stock except for the modified tail wheel tiller. I sewed the tiller to the control horn using Kevlar thread. It works well. I am not a foamie lover; however, this is the best flying RC plane that I have flown. The Suppo 2814/8 1000kv Brushless Motor with an APC 11 x 5.5 flies this Fun Cub with authority.

Scott,

Nice 'clean' build, but what happened to the wheels?!

If you don't mind me asking, what do fly for a living? Just curious, I'm retired USAF A/C Mech. and more recently a former DC-8 flight mechanic).

Nice blog!

Best regards,

B-717 skipper for the last 10 years.

The skinny wheels seem to solve all the flopping of the landing gear. Such a great plane.
