How do I convert CAD files to PDF?

I have a few designs that I've done in TurboCad. I can save them as .TCW, .DWG, .DXF or supposedly PDF. The Save as PDF only saves an 8.5 x 11 size.
I went so far as to buy Adobe Acrobat X Pro, but can't figure out how to use it properly.
I would like to be able to save my drawings as PDF in full size, and various tiled sizes.

I would also like to be able to convert PDF to a CAD format to make editing a drawing easier than manually tracing it.
Can someone please give me a few tips?

Thanks

stop suffering... download PDFill aplication it has a virtual printer module who is installed in the system printer like normal printer.... then define a custom size in the preference menu of the "printer" and voila
http://www.pdfill.com/index.html

about PDF to cad is not easy because not all PDF has vector information... then you need to traslate the PDF to raster image.... again PDFill install a PDFtool (free) with a PDF to image export.. you can define resolution and image tipe.. TIFF and JPG could be inported to Acad.

Scale Builder
You should be able to choose not to scale or print 1:1 or some such option. You should be able to choose and define a custom page size as well. I don't work with TurboCad but every other CAD software I've used have offered these options. Worst case scenario you can send me the .dwg files and I would be happy to convert them for you.

Thanks Chad,

I can scale and/or tile fine within TurboCad, just can't get it to transfer the scale and tiling into a PDF.

Two step process

"Converting" a CAD file to PDF is a virtual printing process, as rajazo mentioned. When you install Acrobat, the Acrobat reader or other PDF software, a PDF printer will be created on your computer. It will be listed in Windows along with any other printers you have defined. In your CAD program, select the PDF printer as the device when you plot or print (depending on the software". It will "print" your CAD file to a PDF file. Print to that PDF file in 1:1 scale, by the way.

To make tiled prints, call up the PDF file in the Acrobat reader. Select Prints, and then in the "page scaling" section, select "Tile all pages." Alternately you can select scale ratios if you wish.
