Hi.
Today i made my first attempt to bench test the Antenna tracker with no success .
What i've done is.
1.Uploaded the AT_TX sketch to my 1st arduino.(Transmitter)
2.Changed the baudrate to 115200 here ( because my GPS OUT settings are 10 Hz 115200 )

void setup() {
Serial.begin(115200);
pinMode(10,OUTPUT);
TCCR1B = 0x00; //stop timer
.......etc.....

3. TX out from my GPS goes to RX (physical PIN 2) of my "transmitter"
4. Power up everything and opened Serial monitor

I received the following

Projecto DIY_AT, Tx V02a-alfa
Ready!!!
no GPS, last 20s

What i m doing wrong ?

Now you can use NMEAGEN and simulate a circular trajectory and see the pan and tilt servo following the "model".

Do it first with the wired connections and then with the RF link if the 1st test succeed.

This is great just what I need.
I'm planning to decode FY-21AP/FY-31AP autopilot data and send it via audio to the ground.

I use a GWS S125 1T 2BB Sail Winch Servo for PAN servo and a regular servo for TILT

Suggestion, piezo speaker alerts would be very useful while you are flying instead of only led, e.g. when tracker is not receiving valid data.

It was an expensive helper, have to "breath" again to be able to order it again .

piezo speaker addition is a good idea, I will implement that asap.

Was it a fancy dual-channel high-speed ADC with a screen and external connections by any chance? (hint hint, oscilloscope)

Yes, a old digital one.

The problem is that only now I am aware of the caps problem of this vintage models

It seems it is again on my way, lets see if the mail man this time delivers the goodie to whom it belongs...

The fact that its not open source defeats the purpose. The point of projects such as this is to share with other and to gain with as much developers involved as possible. For example this antenna tracker can be used with different onboard solution thanks to open source.

Awesome, so this equipment will help you with video-telemetry development? Very cool
