I am building the new RBC BIRDDOG

Hi,

Finaly the new RBC BIRDDOG is ready and yes I am building the BIRDDOG from the very first kit.
Max did a great job and I always love to build his designs.
The motor I will be using is a AXI or the new outrunner that can be seen on the RBC site.

The first pic is the one taken from the RBC site, of the models from Rob and Max.

The rest will be of the model I am building at the moment.

My buildingboard is to hard for pin's and I don't like to use them. I like the use of metal more.

The Hecell cells come in handy also. But as a flight pack they are more fun using.

I like to make lots of pics, I will post lots of them if you all like, but please tell me if its to mutch.

Hello Ton,

I have been promised the first box load of kits, I am expecting them to be here about now.

Do you know if Rob has got these kits on their way now?

If I get time to build a real kit, the Bird Dog is at the top of MY list!

Ron, I will, Thanks

Stefan, Rob told me that the first kits whent out last week, so the Birddog must be ready as we speak.
Don't know where they went, send Rob an email he can tell you more.
Are you planning on building the Birddog, I like it already and maybe I put it on floats later on.

John,

Yes Rob mentioned he promised the first load of Birddogs to you and that the Birddog is on the top of your building list. Don't know how long it takes to get the kits to you, but I think they must arrive early next week.

So make time and cleanup your workbench and startbuilding that model its fun, Max and Rob did a great job.

Don't forget to post some building pic in this threat.

Flaps

Jeff, Thanks

rcguy1, Thanks
1/ Please look at the dealers list on the RBC site http://www.rbckits.com/id39.htm
For the price of the Birddog in the US, you have to ask Rob or one of the dealers in the US.
2/ The Birddog is standard with ailerons and no flaps.
If you like flaps, you can easely modify the wing to take flaps.
For now I build the standard wing from the kit and build lateron a second wing with Flaps.
I realy like flaps and it look so good on the Birddog.
