NIB PTE-36CC Gas $269

I have a NIB PTE-36CC Gas engine for $269. New cost $298!!! (S&H $12.00 Priority Mail)

Let me know if you need this engine.

The PTE36 is the best engine in its class. You can use the same prop, fuel, ambient conditions, spark plug, etc. s the DLE 30! Note: The PTE-36 uses the same engine mounting pattern and same prop bolt pattern as the DLE-30.
The PTE36 is the smoothest, most powerful, and easiest to start.

The main advantage is that it is rear exhaust! On narrow cowled planes like the P-40, P-51, Spitfire, etc., there’s no cutting a hole through the side of the cowl. You don’t spoil the looks of your plane. I always hate cutting the shark’s mouth out of P-40’s cowl for the side exhaust muffler - what a sin! This engine is awesome. It used a Walbro carb, no imitation! It uses an iridium plug which is better than the NGK-CM6 (though the NGK-CM6 will work also).

The bearings are the highest quality of any Chinese engine – they are true Japanese NSK bearings. All the components are top quality which is what makes it run so well and last for a long time.Note: The PTE-36 uses the same engine mounting pattern and same prop bolt pattern as the DLE-30.

Ignition: PTE have their own ignition. It works very reliably. It operates on a wide variety of voltages 4.8 - 7.2. Use 4 and 5 cell Nicad or NiMh without a regulator. Use LiFe without a regulator. With LiIon or LiPoly, use a regulator set at 7v or less. There is no improvement in performance with higher voltages, so don’t use them. There is no warranty on ignitions because if they see more than 7.2v, they can fail. Use a heavy duty switch due to the high current. A 1400 mah battery is good for 6 flights or more. We typically use a 2600 mah LiIon battery which will last for a weekend of flying on a single charge.

Displacement: 36CC
Bore x Stroke: 38*32
Carburetor: Walbro
RPM Range: 1350-9000RPM
Ignition: DC 4.8-6 Volts (made by Pterodactyl)
Fuel mixture: 25-50 : 1
Propeller Recommendations:
Break in: 2-blade: 18x8 (5+ gallons)
Broken in: 2-blade: 19x8 - 20x6
3-blade: Biela 16x10 - 17x10
4-blade: Biela 16x8 (Mustang/Warbirds)
