Thanks for posting the pic of the italian ridge Ian. My family had to slap me round the face a bit to detach me from the screen.

Why aren't there any hills like those near my place! And wind too! The westerly season has been pretty much a fizzer up here.

OK, I consider myself smacked. The other side always looks greener. In 3 days I leave for Christchurch NZ to visit some of the best DS hills in the world with plenty of wind too ... I think when I get back home my local hills (which only work on a few days in winter) will look even poorer!

Just think, if it costs $50 in gas everytime you go fying, save about 6 trips of that money and you can fly to NZ and get more flying and speeds than you would have got in those 6 times flying in Aussie haha

YEah but Alex then our speeds don't count as Aussie PB's! haha. The Sydney guys might do it for 6 x $50. From Brissy it's more like 11 including baggage.

Yes, I agree Tim.

We had one of those days today. 35-40mph wind, 6 of us up the hill (yes I know! WOO HOO) no real speeds taken as we just had fun and got as many circuits in as we could. JWs, Scratchos, Windburner, RT42, all sorts.

Had two Scratchos in the air at once! Has to be a first lol

Nah Rhys and I have had 2 in the air at once! Me and Jarred too. When I'm over there we can go for 3 or 4 at once. There are 5 people that own Scratchos now!

Sounds like a great day Alex. Big achievement getting 6 guys together! Don't burn yourself out and don't use up all the wind.

because there's not many hills in wagga, i have been getting into rc helis, so far i have flown the pants off and destroyed two hobbyking fbl100's (great deal 3d cp, flies great) and just bought the new nano cp, 30 grams, full 3d, 3 axis gyros and head hold, should be a bundle of fun and wont crash anywhere near as hard as ye old fbl100's (less inertia particularly in disk loading(i think thats the right word for it anyway)) paitiently waiting
