No problemo amigo. I use 550 and 450 size frame and it works well. I guess there's a bit of more work to do if you use frames larger than 650.

I'll be mounting it in a 670mm quad to start with. If all goes according to plan I will install and maiden it by Saturday. I'll be posting the pics in the owner's thread for the frame.

I would suggest you to install it in a test bed of 450 size just to familiarize yourself with the system and be on the safe side. There's plenty of features so there's more risk of missing some steps when trying to activate a feature.

That makes sense, the only other option I have would be a F550. Still, considering the possible consequences I would rather risk the F550 than the newer quad. Plus there's tons of room on the F550 to mount that big son of a gun. Once I'm more confident in the FC I'll move it over.

Only one problem: DJI plastic.

I'll look at it this way, if it flies the DJI plastic ok, it will fly any other frame that much better.

I'm just going for it and installing the hardware in my DW AD8 HLE that I'm completing.
I thought wiring up 6 esc's and motors was a pain...8 just plain sucks!

Tried waypoint system (LOS) today. Works great in both click and go and waypoint mode. The joystick works well, too. Will make videos next time got the chance.

Here's a couple of important things that the manual didnt tell you:

If you want to start the motors, make a combination stick movement as if you're starting throttle on WKM.

If you want to start motor after performing auto land, you need to power off the craft then reconnect.

If you want to change settings and parameters, make sure you click on "init setting" in the settings page, make necessary changes, click "send" if you make changes in the parameters page, then "quit setting". Click "get" on parameter page to ensure that all changes have been accepted by the system.

This is the last "distriboard" I've made for the XXL Octo that I am assembling

I will fix it under the centerplate.
