Tritle DC-6B Cargo - Moving Along Nicely

Making some good progress on my DC-6B Freighter conversion in Everts Air Cargo colors. Check out the build thread in the scale electric forum.

I'm modifying the kit for flaps, E-Flite 10-15 retracts. I also made sheeted inner nacelle frames instead of the stick frame assembly to give extra strength as I am using electric motors.

60'' wingspan
51.25'' length
Aiming for 35 oz AUW (Pat Tritle had his 4 channel p-type at 26 ounces - wow!)
600 feet of balsa

Electronics:

HURC 250 plus motors
HURC 10A ESCs
HURC 5A external UBEC
Sky 800mah 2S for rx/servos
Zippy 2100mah 3S pack
E-flite 10-15 size electric retracts
HS-55 servos on the elevator, rudder and ailerons
HURC TP 9G servos for the flaps.
