Hitec X4 Plus AC/DC-Tanic Packs

Is there an adapter plug out there I can use with the X4 plus to charge AND balance these tanic packs?
I am not sure that even though you can charge 4 packs independently, I want to be the guinea pig on charging the individual cells on 3 separate "ports"....
thanks

WHY you ask to this?
"I am not sure that even though you can charge 4 packs independently"

My Answer:
I don't know enough about the circuitry of the charger, and the configuration of the Tanic taps..maybe sharing a common ground?,..not sure if thats a problem...and I've read some other posts....granted..for other chargers, that warn against this process ....

WHY you ask to this?
not sure I "want to be the guinea pig on charging the individual cells on 3 separate "ports".

My answer
Frying a $200 charger...thats a bad day...if i can find out from the forums its a risk in advance...thats my goal...

thanks

rpm3,

A few years ago I bought an adapter from Tanic Packs to take the individual JST connectors into a single JST-HX plug. I had a few old Tanic Packs and got more life from them with the adapters.

Good luck,

Paul

Tanic 3s Adapter for Hitec X4 AC

ok...I used 3 JST males plugs, and a Hyperion adapter part number
HP-EOSLBA-MC-P4

Yes..you need to be careful when soldering, not to short out anything....and yes..you should number each JST plug so you insert it into the correct cell.....but after looking at it...I tried it....works great.

So now i can balance charge a Tanic pack no problem....if anyone is interested in more photos...let me know...
It almost feels like I have found 3 new batteries (Tanic)...since i can take care of them better!!
