Power problem with Blade SR120

I am new to the forum. I thank all in advance for any advice. I am new to helis. I just bought a Blade SR120. Even with fresh batteries, the heli gets off the ground but quickly (30 seconds) loses power so that it lands. I don't fully lose power, controls work and rotors spin, just not enoigh to get off ground. I tried binding it again, which I thought worked at first, but now doesnt seem to make a difference. I tried several battery packs, no change.

Does the red LED on the back of the 4 in one unit start blinking before it loses power? Are you checking the voltage on the batteries. I know mine will blink when the battery power is low and will need to land and a change of battery. Also, are you letting the heli arm it's ESC and 4 in 1 unit before you fly. You need to set it down for a good 5 seconds before you fly and make sure the heli doesn't move during the time it is arming.

Fly Runaway Fans
Both batteries I got with 120SR quickly failed exactly like you say, fly 30sec then not lift.

Replace the Blade batteries with ProTek or Hyperion. These are twice the C rating of Blade.

For the first 5 cycles only fly for 3min (aprx 1/2 charge). Cool 20min, charge at 0.5A (1C).

After break in, limit flight time to 6min. Preferable NOT to wait for the 'low batt' light to blink if you want longest batt life. Lipos strongly resent being over discharged.
