This one's on my radar, so I'm ready to hear from someone who's building it or flying it. This would use the gear I've got on my Eratix I think.

It's on mine to. There seem to have been a lot of new "Slick" styled planes lately. I believe this one was designed by "Spaz" if I'm correct. Can anyone verify?

Yeah, I know! I really like the transparent scheme. It is the same one used on the original Sabre 35.

We all know how well that one performs. . .

Just one of the many videos:

curious if the covering on the big sabre will be better than the 35? Mine started to peel after a few flights.

Its a good idea to always take an iron to new planes.
sometimes, the manufacturers are in somewhat of a hurry to crank the planes out, no matter who they are for.

Just a thought, it might be more "heavy duty" because of the larger size of the Sabre X compared to the tiny Sabre 35. (hopefully not TOO heavy though )

Wow. I just realized I misspelled Sabre in the original title of the thread. . .

I wonder why the funky rudder/tailwheel servo setup??

And, I hate when they use the wire joiner on the two piece elevator.

That was curious to me as well. Why didn't they just mount it on the fuselage like they did on the smaller sabre?

Looks like mini servos are recommended.

Maybe if you filed the servo slots it might work, but mini servos are really what this plane wants.

When I got my second Sabre I just put Blenderm over the seams on the wing, ailerons, hor stab, elevator, and rudder and it has been fine. I think for me on my first Sabre I just used too much heat to keep the covering shrunk tight all the time and it pulled the seams loose from too much shrinkage. I don't shrink my new one as much and on my Scap I haven't had any problems, even though I didn't do the Blenderm treatment on the Scap.
