Ultra micro 5g Boeing 747

Airfame is ready for my ultra micro B 747. Still not decided about the electronics. All suggestions are welcome!

I've seen one that scale flying with dual-ESC IR gear from a toy- Looked great, flew great. Indoor only, of course!

I have few options. I can use my Plantraco gear, can use my Dx-7 with a deltang Rx or wait for the newly ordered HK super micro systems to come.

i'd use a micro 9 3ch rx, one actuator and 2 motors; one on each wing.

i vote DT rx 43d, the one with twin esc and throttle/rudder or throttle/aileron mixing built in. 4+ ch and acts or servos to boot.

Thank you for all your suggestions.

The wings/tail are made out of foam plates. Fuse is from regular foam sliced to 1mm. I think I can reduce the weight of the airframe by about 2 grams. Right now I used hot melt glue. If I get down some CA thin glue. Also if I do some sanding of the wings and tail. Also I laminated the whole model using cello tape to add some durability. If I want I can get rid of them.

I have the 61" 747 version as well. I have posted some videos of its test flight somewhere else in this forum. Its airframe weigh 100 times more than this micro

That is correct. A paper toy based model.

Maybe a bigger model would be easier to convert.
I love this video of a 47cm WS 737 that you probabily already know:

Good luck!
