Got some hits on the Crack Bipe tonight and oh man, this one is a winner. Love it.
My CG looks to be right about at the rear of the cabane. That puts the battery just barely in front of the front fuse spar.
On 2S and a 9x4.7, it's extremely slow and easy to fly. Very gentle and smooth.
On 3S and an 8x4.3 it's incredible...Rolls like the Crack Yak, locks in like the Extra Slick, tracks like a missile. I think this one might be my favorite!
When I put the 3 cell battery in, I am putting it in the same place, so with more power it's a little more nose heavy. I find that the floaty 2S setup suits it being neutral, and on 3S being slightly nose heavy it feels just perfect.
Also, this plane has so much side area that you will need some rudder to turn. The nose will stay high if you just bank and yank...this is good training and it will help you get used to using the rudder. If you are a newer pilot and you are having trouble making coordinated turns, you can do an aileron -> rudder mix of about 40%...so left aileron gives 40% left rudder, and right aileron gives 40% right rudder. This will help with your turns as you learn...put it on a switch though; it will really screw up harrier rolls if you try to fly those with the mix on!
