I think the issue is that there's a massive thread of nothing but skywalker setups.. check that and I guarantee you'll find what you're looking for.

4s is the way to go with 980kv motor with 9x6 prop. if sticking with 3s i would go with 1250kv motor with 9x6 prop.

I have read that post but there is only like 4 motors talked about and im kinda sure that what they post is what they started with insted of what they have found to work best.

I have a 1020 kv now that was on my old plane. I may try it out untill the 1400 kv gets shiped to me.

The Skywalker 1680 and 1900 should use the same motor selection. I have both and power required is the same.

This Skywalker 1680 thread produced over 600 responses with "motor" as a search criteria. Plenty of info on motors and props.

Then you didn't really read the thread.
The SW electronics thread was started more than a year after the SW was released. .
It's full of well proven setups and plenty of proof for why they work. I count 7 motors on the
first page, and 17 overall in flying planes.

Any of those would work in the 1900. I just wouldn't plan on the 1900 being a speed demon
and choose a motor accordingly. Generally speaking <1000kv is used with 4S setup,
and >1000kv is used with 3S setups. There are exceptions both ways.
