Thane and Jim at Wilson

Here you go Thane, i got these pics of you and Jim on the Maiden Voyage!

sorry guys no video yet.

All i can say is what a plane there was realy no bending of the wings what so ever during the maiden. just huge carving turns and loops. penitration seemed endless as i watched. Jim did some hard twisting rolls and it worked flawlessly.

A day after the races we went to a differant hill that had at least a 200 ft cliff like face. The wind was blowing 30-40 mph and i stood in ahh as i watched Thane a Jim ring these things out. i can tell you this i have never seen a plane retain so much energy they just keep going and going.

One thing i noticed that after they droped in from a hanging spot the first pump had gained lots of ground and with each dive they gained speed and height.

WAY TO GO BRO AND JIM YOU GUYS SHOULD BE VERY PROUD!!!!!!

Oh ya heres the pics

Fantastic. I can't imagine the feeling of achievement of designing a building something like that and have it turn out so well.

Here is some video of the Inertia doing what I like to do. Big lazy maneuvers at speed. Sorry about the quality, it was shot with a little point & shoot camera.

Thane flew the latest version of his twisty creation at the Orme in the UK this weekend, rave reviews from the locals. 'Wide eyed and slack jawed in amazement; was the one of comments I heard at the slope today. Wish I'd been there, some fine engineering, his latest version apparently has a canopy air-brake.

Thane, enjoy your tour of the UK slope sties!

Quite a few curious about what foil you used?

Tony.
