Back on post #867 ,22 Jan.2013.we had an addition to the family.
Last week they announced they were moving to Japan.
Momma's not happy.
Some boat building delay is in order.

Family always comes first if you do not want to be building models in an empty apartment somewhere or a trailer park.

At least that is my opinion... (and one of the reasons I have been on about a three year hiatus, except the research part and following the forums)

The bright side -- maybe the folks in Japan can get some good deals on some model stuff.....?

Big news I'm back


I finished my cushion straps today.All that remains is the molding around the base of the hatch. I will be making the molding out of 1/32" mahogony later.

You all remember the famous foreward salon wall. Sterling kit dictated an arched top Chris Craft was flat. Pics below to refresh weak memories.( Like NORGALES)

WELL I FOUND ANOTHER ONE The upper cabin has a similar problem.

Thanks Pete ................4 ply coffee filter . each ply glued together w/ E 6000. painted w/ flat white. .......Tougher than leather.
